The Vault 1905 Sports Grill: Reviews & Ratings
We got there when they opened and only one group was ahead of us, within 20 minutes the place was near full. My steak and eggs was good. Steak cooked properly. The coffee was fresh. Service was a little slow , but I think they were just trying to keep up with the surge
Unique place in historic downtown Van Buren AR. Near the Arkansas Missouri train. Has a full bar and a big variety of foods. Floors table and bars are made of old wooden bowling lanes materials. They have some live entertainment some days of the week. Friendly bartender. Parking limited in front but a parking lot in back.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at The Vault. We enjoyed the fact that: 1) the atmosphere and interior have a very historical, yet laid-back, vibe (with lots of big screen TV’s showing different sports, for those who like that sort of thing); 2) the speed of service was noticeably fast, considering we were a party of four and we ordered appetizers (soft pretzels, fried mushrooms, and spicy cheese curds, in our case, all of which were delicious), and - on that note - 3) the food was all hot, freshly cooked, and very tasty. Really nice portion sizes for that matter too. If you’re looking for a place with nice, relaxing atmosphere, speedy service, spacious tables/seating, and a (shockingly!) wide variety of foods for everyone to choose from, then I would very much recommend The Vault for a date night, dinner out with the family, etc. It’s a five-star experience for me!
Beautiful restaurant, our food was good. The fries are very salty. If you’re going to watch the game the tv doesn’t have sound, They play music. Quiet setting to be a sports bar.
We stopped by here on our way to Hot Springs after reading the positive reviews on the food. Very cool old bank building on a beautiful historic Main Street. The dining room and bar is not nearly as big as it looks from outside, because it seems like more than half the building is an event/party area. But it was an open, well lit dining room with a bar on one side and a small stage area in the corner. We were sat and greeted right away. Our server was nice but did not introduce himself or make any recommendations. We learned after we ordered it was Thursday discount fried steak day, which would have been good to know beforehand. Anyway, we started with the stuffed mushrooms "Chef's special" and they came out pretty fast. They were amazing! Hot and fresh and filled with cream cheese, bacon, and steak. It was a large serving too, with 8 good size mushrooms! Our lunch order took a while to arrive though and we probably waited 20-30 minutes after our appetizer. When it did arrive it was all delicious and very large portions. My husband got the country fried steak, I got the prime cheese burger and fries, and my daughter got the pulled pork sliders and mac and cheese. We could have easily shared the burger or the fried steak and didn't finish either. The housemade fries were amazing too. The server did come back to refill my tea twice but never cleared any plates including the app plates from the beginning, so the table was pretty crowded. Overall, great meal and ok service. I would definitely return and recommend! They have a big menu with a lot of variety including brunch!
